Russell S. Johnson

Russell S. Johnson, 97, of Oakland died on Sept. 8, 2008. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Arnold and Peggy Johnson.

Myrtle I. Berg

Myrtle I. Berg, 100, of St. Edward, died on Saturday, Sept. 20, 2008 at the Cloverlodge Care Center in St. Edward. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2008 at the United Methodist-Presbyterian Church in St. Edward with the Rev. Glen Holtz officiating.  Burial was held at Evergreen Cemetery in St. Edward.

Wanda G. Svatora

Wanda G. Svatora, 93 of Albion, died on Sunday, Sept. 21, 2008 at the Mid-Nebraska Lutheran Home in Newman Grove, NE. Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2008 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Albion with Rev. Larry Sydow officiating.  Burial was at the Evergreen Cemetery in St. Edward.
