Cardinal sophomore Brooke Bolin had another impressive week in girls golf competition, following up a second-place finish in a triangular at Columbus Sept. 16 with the individual championship at the 2008 Boone Central Invitational Saturday at the Albion Country Club.
Bolin took advantage of a gorgeous early-fall day Saturday to fire an 18-hole score of 79 on the ACC layout, easily defeating Jacy Gasper (86) of Scotus for the gold medal.

Thursday, Boone Central finished third in triangular action at Columbus, with Gasper edging Bolin for low round of the competition (41-42).
