New BCR Street Stock Leader After Friday Action

Jason Wilkinson of Neligh finished second in the Street Stock A Feature Friday at the Boone County Raceway in Albion and overtook Humphrey’s Randy Hooker in the 2009 season point standings.
Point leaders remained the same in the other three BCR classes on a night that saw new feature winners in Hobby Stock (Shawn Rasmussen), Street Stock (Josh Grape) and Late Model (Bryan Molt) racing. Modified point leader Dylan Smith of Osceola stretched his advantage by winning another A Feature event.
The summer racing season will continue Friday, July 3, with the Boone County Raceway Special, followed by a fireworks display at the fairgrounds facility in Albion. Action begings at 8 p.m.
