County valuation tops $936 million

Boone County’s total property valuation will exceed $936 million for the 2009-10 tax year.
New valuation totals were announced Tuesday by Boone County Treasurer Joyce Sock.
The valuation boost will be more than 14 percent for 2009-10, and this marks the second consecutive year that the county’s total valuation has increased by more than $100 million.
