Commissioners review courthouse bids

November 23, 2009

Boone County Commissioners and Beckenhauer Construction representatives reviewed subcontractor bids on the courthouse renovation project on Monday morning.

Buster Beckenhauer pointed out that the general contractor representatives were attending the meeting only to discuss the bid proposals, which were not yet finalized. Several of the bids were incomplete, he said, and the company needs to contact some of the contractors to verify that bids are complete.

The apparent low bid total is $690,275 for all of the subcontractors. However, this could change if verification indicates some bid totals need to be changed.
