Foundation reports progress

Boone County Area Foundation reported its past year’s progress during the annual community banquet Sunday evening, Jan. 31, at the Albion Country Club.
The foundation was formed in 1995 “as a vehicle to give back to our area,” said Jay Wolf, foundation board chairman. He reported that the foundation grew in total contributions during 2009, and the total now stands at $354,000.
