Original wood work, light fixtures and oak floors, all in good condition, are just some of the features of the historic home to be sold by St. John the Baptist Parish on the east edge of Petersburg.

The home, which was built in 1919 to house priests serving the parish, included six bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths in the original home. In the mid-1960s, a four-bedroom, two-bath addition and apartment was added. The structure then became a convent for nuns until September of 2008. It is a full two-story home with a walk-up attic and full basement. The kitchen was remodeled in the 1970s.
