Area youngsters lined up to visit Nebraska senior football players and have them sign autographs before the start of the ‘Husker Hoops’ basketball game last Friday night. Waiting for autographs from Husker safety Matt O’Hanlon are, l. to r., Christian Benda, his mother Tammy and brother Derek, and Tyler Martinsen. The game at Boone Central High School featured Nebraska football seniors playing a team of 10 area high school senior stars to raise funds for the Boone County Hospital Foundation’s 2010 Project Care and Comfort. The money will help equip a private patient suite in the new hospital addition for terminally and seriously ill patients.
