Progress is evident at wind farm

First sections of wind towers for the Laredo Ridge Wind Farm were in place by last Friday, Aug. 27, at several locations east of Raeville.

Two large cranes were nearby, and wind tower components have been arriving regularly at the various tower sites.

The 54-tower, 81-megawatt wind farm is scheduled for completion by the end of 2010.
