Matthew VanDeWalle

Matthew VanDeWalle, 39, of Columbus died Thursday, Sept. 2, 2010, at the Nebraska Heart Institute in Lincoln. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Sept. 7, at the Federated Church in Columbus. Interment was in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Petersburg.

Shirley A. Matousek

Shirley A. Matousek, 78, of St. Paul died Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010, at St. Francis Medical Center in Grand Island. A memorial service was held Tuesday, Sept. 7 at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in St. Paul. Legion Auxiliary honors were conducted by Carl Mogensen American Legion Auxiliary Unit #119 of St. Paul. Inurnment was in the Elmwood Cemetery in St. Paul. She chose to be cremated.

Warren R. Dickey

Warren R. Dickey, 85, of York died Monday, Aug. 30, 2010 at the Hearthstone in York. Memorial services were held Thursday, Sept. 2 at the First United Methodist Church in York. A private family inurnment was held.

Della H. (Drozd) DeRock

Della Helene (Drozd) DeRock, 78, of Columbus died Sunday, Aug. 29, 2010, at the Golden Living Center in Columbus. A funeral mass was held Thursday, Sept. 2 at St. Isidore Catholic Church.
