Chamber honors Boot Rack for 30 years

A 30-year recognition plaque was presented to Boot Rack owners Norm and Darlene Reynoldson by Albion Chamber President Lori Krohn during the Albion Chamber of Commerce meeting Monday evening, Feb. 20, at City Hall.

Norm shared some of the history of the Boot Rack’s business with those in attendance. He started in retail at a local shoe store in 1971, because he wanted to be his own boss. In 1982, he purchased the store. They moved to their current location in 1995, and Darlene started working at the store in 2005.
