Boone Central elementary students joined in the fun and helped celebrate National FFA Week at the annual “Pig Races” in the school gym Monday afternoon, Feb. 20. Above, student Camden Moser cheers on his favorite pig.

Each of the 10 classrooms decorated and named their battery-operated pig for the race. First pig to cross the outside edge of the center circle was the winner. This year’s winner was “Bacon Junior” represented by fifth grader Sydney Rother.
