Willa Reye (Tidvall) Keifer, 89, of Kearney, formerly of Holdrege, died on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011 at the Mt. Carmel Keens Memorial Home in Kearney. Memorial services will be conducted at the First Presbyterian Church in Holdrege, Nebraska on Thursday, Sept. 29 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Dr. W. Kirwin Stewart, Jr. officiating. A private family interment will be held in the Prairie Home Cemetery at Holdrege prior to the service. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2011, from 1-8 p.m. at the Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home in Holdrege.

Ernest Jensen, 84 of Newman Grove died Saturday Sept. 24, 2011 at the Norfolk Veterans Home where he had lived since May 2010.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Sept. 28 at Immanuel Zion (South Branch) Lutheran Church at rural Albion. Burial was in the parish cemetery with Military Honors conducted by American Legion Post # 73 of Newman Grove and the Nebraska Military Honor Guard.
