Floyd L. Veik, 73, of Platte Center, died Thursday, Nov. 10, 2011, at his home. Services were held Monday, Nov. 14, 2011 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Platte Center with the Rev. Joe Miksch officiating. Burial was at Ss. Patrick/Joseph Cemetery in Platte Center.

Glenda J. (Hollenbeck) Webb, 63, of Albion died Friday, November 11, 2011 at the Wold Memorial Good Samaritan Home in Albion. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Albion. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery at Albion.

Esther M. (Heineman) Kleffner, 92, of Spalding, Nebraska died Friday, November 11, 2011 at Avera Creighton Hospital, Creighton, Nebraska. Funeral services will will be Wednesday, November 16 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church with Father Don Burhman officiating. Internment will be at St. Michael’s Cemetery, Spalding.

Willa Reye (Tidvall) Keifer, 89, of Kearney, formerly of Holdrege, died on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011 at the Mt. Carmel Keens Memorial Home in Kearney. Memorial services will be conducted at the First Presbyterian Church in Holdrege, Nebraska on Thursday, Sept. 29 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Dr. W. Kirwin Stewart, Jr. officiating. A private family interment will be held in the Prairie Home Cemetery at Holdrege prior to the service. Ernest Jensen, 84 of Newman Grove died Saturday Sept. 24, 2011 at the Norfolk Veterans Home where he had lived since May 2010.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Sept. 28 at Immanuel Zion (South Branch) Lutheran Church at rural Albion. Burial was in the parish cemetery with Military Honors conducted by American Legion Post # 73 of Newman Grove and the Nebraska Military Honor Guard.
