Ed Knott of Albion received a special “Teammate of the Year” award at the 11th annual Team Jack Gala event on Feb. 24 in Lincoln.

Summit Carbon Solutions held a first informational meeting in Albion on Tuesday morning, March 12, at the Casey building on the Boone County Fairgrounds. A second meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, March 26, 7 a.m.

City of Albion will be hosting the annual clean up days on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 21 and 22, for residential and commercial properties within the city limits. Roll-off dumpsters will be provided behind City Hall, 420 West Market Street, from 9 a.m.
