Newman Grove FFA members performed well in the Battle Creek Livestock Judging Invitational last week. Earning individual rankings were: Dylan Luetkenhaus, second; Kailey Patzel, sixth; Aubree Whitake, 16th; Max Stenger, 22nd; Marley Hall, 30th; Allyx Forre, 33rd, and Nate Fowlkes, 34th.

Prom will be held at Newman Grove High School this Saturday, March 23, followed by the Post Prom Party. Induction ceremony for the National Honor Society will be held Monday evening, March 25, at 7:30 p.m..

St. Edward’s annual Easter Egg Hunt for children will be held this Sunday, March 24, at Cloverlodge Care Center, 301 North 13th Street.

Activities at the St. Edward Christian Community Church for March include: Church services are held on Sundays at 9:30 a.m.

There is a passion in you that other people will try to shut down, but you don’t have to listen to them. There is no limit to what you can achieve. Don’t be afraid to be yourself even if that means you are different from people around you. One day you will find where you are meant to be and realize you’re not so different after all; A little-known fact about me is I am good at building things and doing construction work.
