The accolades continue to roll in for the Boone County Health Center (BCHC) as the facility has been named one of the cleanest hospitals in the United States by “ Becker’s Hospital Review.” Among 350 hospitals nationwide, BCHC earned a 5-star rating for cleanliness, placing it among just nine hospitals in Nebraska to receive this prestigious recognition. The ranking is based on data from the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) surveys, a national, standardized tool that gathers feedback from patients about their experiences during recent inpatient hospital stays.

Produce and products of all kinds will be featured at a downtown farmers market in Albion on Saturday, Sept. 7.

Boone County Health Center (BCHC) has announced the addition of Shirley Berger to its Foundation Board. Berger, a farmer/rancher wife and bookkeeper, brings financial knowledge and dedication to her new role, rooted in a deep commitment to the community and BCHC’s mission.

Applied Connective has a tradition of hosting an annual internal food drive competition, and this year, the company decided to challenge another local business to see who could collect the most items for the local pantries.

This recognition is based on data from the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) collected by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
