Rural Populations growing thanks to immigration

Body WAKEFIELD – It’s lunch, and Rosa Brambila rings up an order of enchiladas and rice for a man from Guatemala, here in Nebraska to work. She pours a beer for a woman from Nicaragua, then brings out a burrito for the town’s only newspaper reporter.

Knights strike down Cardinals in contest

Body The Knights of Norfolk Catholic were waiting for this week’s matchup with great anticipation. The two teams met Thursday September 5th for the first time in three years when this year’s seniors were only freshman.

Farmers Market held over weekend

Body The Albion Farmers Market was held at the Venue in downtown Albion over the weekend. Shoppers were greeted by vendors or all types, and proceeds of the event were used to help fund and encourage a youth entrepreneur in their venture.

Panthers run at Albion CC
