Panther football falls to Bulldogs on the road

The Newman Grove-St Edward Panther football team took to the road for a short trip to Humphrey-Lindsay and took on the Bulldogs on their own turf, falling to the home team 26-12 at the end of the final quarter.

Solid performance by Card runners at Tom Dickey Invite

After the past two weeks of running on rather grueling hilly courses, the Boone Central Cross Country teams returned to the friendly confines of the Albion Country Club for the annual Tom Dickey Individual Invitational. This meet not only awards trophies for the top two finishing teams, it uniquely decorates the top 5 finishers of each grade level with medals.

Life Chain event planned in Columbus

Sunday, October 6 has been designated as Life Chain Sunday across the nation. Columbus area churches will come together with other Nebraska communities and over 1,000 communities in the United States and Canada to pray together for the end of abortion and for the victims of abortion.
