Youth wrestling for Newman Grove-St. Edward kicked off last week on Sunday, Dec.

With the holiday break in the rearview, the Lady Cardinals of Boone Central (3-2) headed off to the Broken Bow Holiday Tournament on Dec 27th and 28th. The Cards battled hard in both matches, earning a victory in the opening round over Adams Central 50-46 before falling to the host school 53-46 in the championship to take home the runner-up prize.

The Boone Central wrestling team competed today in Newman Grove at the NG/SE Holiday Invitational on Saturday, Dec. 28.
