Boone Central Cardinals repeated as team champions of their own invitational speech meet last Saturday, Jan. 20.

After a longer than anticipated winter break due to the arrival of extreme winter weather, the Boone Central Lady Cardinals were back on their home court on Jan. 18 to face a tough Columbus Scotus squad (8-5). The freezing temperatures of the past couple weeks unfortunately seeped into the gym and the Shamrocks were able to ice the Cards 44-17.

The wild winter weather and a slew of postponements and cancellations - both games and practices - did not seem to faze the Boone Central Cardinals in the least. Boone Central returned to the court Friday, Jan.

Runners-up Hudson, Roberts pace Boone It was back to business for the Boone Central wrestling team at the Madison Invitational Friday, Jan. 19.

The Boone Central boys bowling team was back in action after winter break with a duel against Spalding Academy (3-2) January 5 at Newman Grove. The Shamrocks are in the first year of their bowling program and have fashioned a good start.
