Lipker officially commits to Concordia

Cardinal senior Jaxon Lipker signed his track/field Letter Of Intent with Concordia University Jan. 17 at the Boone Central competition gym. The 6’6 high jump phenom, who currently holds the event record at Boone Central (6’5), is ready to take his talents to the next level.

Leynn Luna wins two golds, Slaymaker one

The Boone Central Lady Cardinals were back on the mat this past weekend, battling in a pair of very competitive tournaments. After tournaments scheduled at Battle Creek and Ord were abandoned due to recent storms and frigid temperatures, Boone Central was able to join girls competition in the Neligh- Oakdale Invite Friday.

The Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family Bulldogs, working around several weather postponements and cancellations, rattled off three straight recent victories. HLHF has now won four in a row, boosting its record to 7-6.

Boone JV drops 2nd of season to Shamrocks

In a 32-minute battle of trading scores and trying to wrest control, Boone Central’s boys JV basketball fell 44-39 to visiting Scotus Central Catholic Thursday, January 18. Scotus came out hot in the first quarter while also holding the Cardinals to just five points, taking a demanding 12-5 lead.

BCHC recertifies for sleep studies

Boone County Health Center (BCHC) announced it is again accredited for conducting sleep studies by the American Commission for Health Care (ACHC). The Respiratory Therapy department recently underwent a rigorous and lengthy reaccreditation process, demonstrating its commitment to providing high-quality sleep study services.
RESPIRATORY THERAPY team at BCHC includes, l.-r., Ryan Luettel, CRT, and Courtney Schindler, RRT and supervisor.
