In February 2023, the Lower Loup Natural Resources District (LLNRD) Board of Directors passed a rule to allow the NRD to assess all agricultural fields within the district’s three groundwater quality management areas annually for the purpose of locating potentially problematic sites.

Boone Central High School speech team had a successful weekend at the Lindsay Holy Family/St. Francis Invitational last Friday and the David City Invite on Saturday.

Eighth graders at Boone Central Middle School wrote, revised and published a book for the second graders. Each book had to teach about nouns and was customized to the second grader they chose to write for. Eighth graders read and presented the books to the second graders last Friday.
