It still features the famed music by Richard Rogers and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein, but a 2013 book by writer Douglas Carter Beane has updated it with a few changes.

Boone wrestlers battle in challenging season

The 2023-24 wrestling season was a challenging roller-coaster ride for the Boone Central Cardinals, who began the campaign shorthanded and battled injuries and illness throughout. Boone competitors upheld the Cardinal Pride of the school’s accomplished wrestling program, however, built through 60 years of sweat, blood, toil and tussle.
