The team competed in a field of 16 teams from across the nation. “This is a very competitive contest and it’s always amazing to see what knowledge these young adults have learned about different species,” said Pritchard. Aidan Choat was the 10th place high overall individual in the contest. Hilary Maricle was the coach who accompanied the team to Louisville. St. Edward FFA reviews National Convention

Body
On Friday, we started heading home from Indy. We were in the van for too long, before getting to the Caterpillar Museum in Peoria, Illinois. We saw some of the history of construction vehicles and how Caterpillar has evolved. We then got shoved back in the van for a few more hours, before stopping at the World’s Largest Truck Stop. There, we killed some time by looking around where there were stores, truck parts, a catering area, and even Dairy Queen. After that, we went to Fireside Winery in Iowa to learn about the winemaking process and how it is growing in the US. Finally, after being shoved into the van one last time for the day, we made it to Des Moines to sleep for the night with the final destination of home on Saturday.
