The Nebraska American Legion Baseball Association recently announced assignments for the 2025 Class C Junior and Senior Legion Area Tournaments, which are set to be played in July. This year, the Albion Senior Legion team will host its own area tournament, while the junior squad will head to Twin River.

The Albion Post #162 Juniors baseball team traveled to take on the Tri-County Titans for a win, and notched a loss against Plainview’s Post #148 team on Monday before storms rolled in. The Juniors will be traveling to the Area Tournament starting this weekend, July 11, in Twin River.

Memorial service for Theresa J. Tucker, 69, of Norfolk, were held Saturday, June 28, 2025 at Stonacek Funeral Chapel, Norfolk.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Margaret (Marg) Jean Baker, 93, of St. Edward, will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, July 7, 2025 at St.
