Petersburg deptartment picks up new grass rig

The Petersburg Rural Fire District board recently purchased a new grass rig for use by the Petersburg fire Department in fighting grass fires. The new rig has a 450-gallon tank along with a 10-gallon foam applicator and two hose reels. This unit also has department personal wells behind the cab which allow firemen to stand on the rig while the unit is in motion. Remote controls are located both in front and in the rear for easier access while in use.

Body Boone Central TeamMates is a school club that currently has 72 Mentor/ Mentee matches. The pairs meet at school once a week during the school day during the school year. Teammates was founded by Dr. Tom and Nancy Osborne in1991, this the 25th year at Boone Central.
