Albion Fire and Rescue would like to thank all those able to attend the annual Pancake Feed. As volunteers, the department thrives because of the support of the community. The Department would like to extend special thanks to the Knights of Columbus Council #1739, Niewohner Family Farms, Albion Locker, Thrifty-Way, Gragerts Sure Save, Jerry Leifeld, Tracy Coakes, Rosie Spieker, Weston Ray, Chris Nelson, Greg Krohn, FFA Alumni Association, Albion News and Tisthammer Fabrication for their donations and help to make the pancake feed possible. The firetruck drawing winner was Kessa Rasmussen.

The week before the Nebraska State Cross Country Championships is a very stressful time. Besides the “coming down” from a high after qualifying for the big event, the Boone Central girls’ team and the lone boy qualifier, Logan Thompson, faced a myriad of heavy thoughts.
