Nicole Rutten, RN, a caring long-term care nurse at Good Samaritan Society – Albion was recently awarded the 2025 Daisy Award for Extraordinary Nurses. She has served Good Samaritan since 2019.

Albion welcomed the Community Builders group on April 24, 2025. In remembrance of Lanny Young his wife Jeanne donated this bench that will sit on the south side of the Albion Vet’s Club. Clyde Stuhr of Patriots Landing made the bench that was designed by him and Jeanne.

Prairie Sisters’ new home is in the former Sixthth & Hale building on main street in Newman Grove. Owner, Katie Stone, will be selling women’s and kids clothing, home decor and furniture. She will sell online and from the store. Inventory from the previous owner will also be for sale.
