In October the St. Edward Volunteer Fire Department went to St. Edward Public School and to teach the 2nd graders the importance of fire safety. They talked to the students about electrical safety, the 911 system, kitchen safety, fire escape plans, kitchen safety and other fire related safety tips.

The students were also given gifts through Thrivent Financial with funds from Thrivent Action Teams. …
