Body ThisAugust a project multiple years in the making is coming to completion.

Body Grand Marshals, Harlan and MaryAnne Long, were named, and rode as a feature in the parade, at the 2026 Beaver Valley Days Celebration in St. Edward.

Body I’ve been hearing a lot of talk lately about the “state of things” and how the world is much worse than it used to be. I suppose every generation always thinks that they’ve got it worse than every other generation.

Body August 2nd at 10:16 a.m. the Petersburg Fire Department was notified of a grass fire on the Tom Stevenson property approximately three miles west and three south of Petersburg. A spark from a four-wheeler apparently ignited last year’s tall grass which began to spread.
