With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Phyllis Joan Gasper at the age of 70 on October 19, 2024, following a courageous 18-month battle after a stroke. Born on March 16, 1954, Phyllis was the beloved daughter of Louis and Frieda Werner Gasper.

She began her elementary education at District 57 south of Hemingford, kindergarten through part of the second grade, then District 92 near Marsland through the eighth grade.
