Melvin L. Griel, 81, of Newman Grove, passed away Saturday, February 8, 2025, at the Mid-Nebraska Lutheran Home in Newman Grove.

A private service for Ruth Fisher-Miller, 98, was held in Eugene Oregon Beloved daughter, sister and mother, Ruth Fisher-Miller, passed away peacefully January 29, 2025 at the age of 98. She grew up in Albion, Nebraska and spent the majority of her adult life in Oregon. She was preceded in death by her husband Gilbert, her daughters Sharon Miller and Sandy Miller as well as her parents, Otto and Edith Fisher, and brothers and sisters. Ruth Fischer-Miller is survived by her sons: Rick (Karen) Miller, Steve Miller and her daughter, Lisa (Seth) Olsen of Albion.

A funeral service for Richard W. Taylor, 62 of Scituate, Mass., was held Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at St Luke’s Episcopal Church, Scituate, Mass.

Visitation for Kathryn D. (Koenig) Molt Sojka, 94, of Albion will be Tuesday, February 4, 2025, from 12:30 p.m.

Elliott C. Broberg, 93, of Newman Grove, passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at the Mid-Nebraska Lutheran Home in Newman Grove, NE.

Services for Nancy Theresa (Mueller) Burbach, 65, of Norfolk, will be held at a later date. Nancy Theresa (Mueller) Burbach was born on February 2, 1959, in Albion, NE to Leo and Lois (Rojohn) Mueller, and she passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at the Countryview Nursing Home in Wayne.

Graveside service for Mary Jeanne Cahill, 67, of Long Beach, Calif., will be held at a later date. Mary Jeanne Cahill, 67, was born on December 3, 1957 to Leo James and Jeanne Lucy (McLees) Cahill in Columbus, and she passed away on December 28, 2024 after a long battle with cancer.
