Body Boone Central High School has announced that the local FCCLA Parliamentary Procedure teams, level 2 and level 3, have both placed in the top 10 of the nation at the 2025 Nationals Leadership Conference in Orlando, Florida this past July.

Body A great honor was bestowed upon Steve Pelster of Omaha in mid-May of this year. After spending decades of his life boxing and working with Golden Gloves of America, a prestigious amateur boxing organization, Pelster was inducted into the Golden Gloves Boxing Hall of Fame.

Body From a summer job to a lifetime of service at the fairgrounds… What was supposed to be a one or two year summer job turned into an almost 40-year journey I never expected. In May of 1986, my wife Angie, our daughter Ashley, and I, moved back from Lincoln for the summer.

Body The Albion community blood drive was held Monday, June 30 at the Casey’s Building at the Boone County Fairgrounds. They had 83 units of blood donated from 85 donors.
