Submitted Article The St. Edward FFA Chapter has had an impressive start to the 2025-2026 school year, with members excelling in a variety of competitions at the local, district, and state levels.

The Newman Grove/St. Edward Panther boys basketball team had two games since last report against Elba, coming off a win to take on Grand Island Lutheran and Burwell.

The junior high Panthers basketball team started the second full week of January with another home game against the Palmer Tigers. The Panthers picked up a good head of steam in the first quarter, 120, over Palmer, and led 15-6 heading into the halftime break.

In February, 2024 a Community Opinion survey was done with residents of the St. Edward Community.

The St. Edward Fire Department (above) and St. Edward Public School (below) shared in the spirit of Christmas this past week with visits from Santa and The Grinch as the community celebrates the season.
