Three NG students qualify for State Science Fair

Newman Grove Public School had three state qualifiers and one alternate advancing from the Nebraska Junior Academy of Science’s (NJAS) Northeast Regional Science Fair held March 22 at Wayne State College. Newman Grove state qualifiers advancing were the team of Jayden Benson and Madysen Wiese, as well as Serenity Strong.

A pair of young hoopsters with Albion ties were in All-Star basketball action this past week. Aubrey Carder and Turner Flanagan competed in the 8th grade girls and boys divisions of the 23rd Annual Battle Sports/Blair Freeman 2024 All-Star Basketball Games at Bellevue East High School March 21.
