‘Lucky Me Tee Factory’ shop opens in Albion

If you’re in a town the size of Albion, it isn’t always easy to find what you’re looking for, although Albion, for a town of less than 1,700, does well in retail sales availability and choice. But if you’re looking for a shop that can take your favorite picture and put it on a shirt, well then lucky you, because you’ve got a shop you can check out in downtown Albion.

St. Edward FFA trip to National Convention

Body
Day 1 - By Rebekah Ketelsen. On Monday, Oct. 21, five St. Edward FFA members began their trip to the National FFA Convention by traveling to St. Louis, MO. They visited the Gateway Arch and learned how it was made, when it was made, and who created it. They toured the arch and took the ride to the top. The elevator was a combination of an elevator, a Ferris wheel, and an escalator. This unique combination of these items involves the enclosed space of the elevator, the tilting of the car from the Ferris wheel, and the diagonal approach from the escalator. After the arch tour, they went to the hotel and enjoyed a meal to round out the day.

My Side of the Fencepost

Julie and I are in the early months of what we like to call our “retirement.” Sure, it has been a while since we hit 65, or 67, or whatever age you can start getting Social Security -- but the process of getting retired and dealing with the various programs can be complicated. I understand now why seniors need to get financial advice and especially need advice on Medicare and/or Medicaid.
