Lady Cards battle hard for 2-1 Week

Body
After an up and down week against some tough opponents the Boone Central Cardinals (5-4) were back in action against some .500 teams last week. Based off their play the week before, these looked like two very winnable games but unfortunately the ball didn’t bounce their way this week as they dropped both matches losing to O’Neill (5-5) at home on Friday and on the road at Wayne (6-7) on Saturday.

Cardinals start preparing musical

Body
Rehearsals have begun for this year’s Boone Central High School musical, “Curtains.” The year is 1959, and a new musical is premiering at Boston’s Colonial Theater. When the leading lady mysteriously dies on stage during the bows, the entire cast and crew are suspects.
Cast members work with choreographer, Brittany Childress on one of the dance number for this year’s musical, “Curtains.”

Babbling Brook

Body
One of my favorite stolen sayings is that “close only counts in horsehoes and hand grenades.” I’m not a real particular person - I like to think I am, but at the end of the day I’m just as lazy as the next person. I throw my clothes on the floor at home, a foot from the washing machine.
