Juniors end season with run at State

The Albion Cornerstone Bank Post 162 Legion juniors squad saw their season come to an end at the Class C Junior Legion State Baseball Tournament after just two games on Saturday and Sunday, July 20 and 21.

Morris joins TC Vet offices

A new veterinarian has joined the team at TC Vet in Albion, Elysia (“Ely”) Morris, DVM, started with her official rounds just after Memorial Day this past May. Morris is a native of northern Minnesota, and said that working on her extended family’s dairy operation helped cultivate and create a love for animals, specifically beef cattle as she learned more, which led her into veterinarian practice.

Cornerstone Seniors sweep Final 3 of season

It was a busy week for the Albion Cornerstone Legion Seniors with three games on the road. They got off to an amazing start walloping Atkinson on Monday the 15th 17-2 before winning both sides of a double header in Orchard on Thursday, 4-1 and 6-2.
