Juniors wrap up season in Genoa

The Albion Post #162 Juniors Legion baseball team started it’s journey in the 2025 American Legion C5 baseball tournament in Genoa this past week. The Albion Post #162 boys had their first game on July 11 against Ord, and were defeated 11-3 after the final inning.
Albion youth on Kelly’s Champ team

The Kelly’s Fastpitch 16U-18U girls softball team won their Class C state competition bracket recently. Two Albion young women were part of the team, Averie Luettel and Ava Buhlmann. 10U girls travel to state for first time

The Albion 10-and-Under softball team took a trip to the State Softball Tournament last weekend, picking up some good experience and memories for the team to carry into the future. The team took to the field against the Havoc Dunn team in the bunny bracket before the first round, and took a loss 6-0.
Locals part of music tour in Europe

In June, the Nebraska Ambassadors of Music, including several area high school student musicians, family members and staff embarked on a 16-day trip, touring and performing in five countries in Europe: England, France, Switzerland, Germany, and Austria.
