Funeral Services for DeLois Jacobson, 99, of Fairbanks, Alaska formerly of the Newman Grove area, were held Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at Salem Lutheran Church rural St. Edward.
Last week several members of the Petersburg Rescue unit participated in a practice drill at the wind tower site east of Petersburg. Members attending were EMT’s Dale Salber, John Wagner, Neil Baumgartner, Kim Fangman, Mike Prothman and Jen Thieman.
This year’s winner of the 430 Case tractor grand prize at the Antique Tractor Bee held at Rae Valley was Thad Frey of Hooper. The second-place winner was Ed Stanies of Central City, picking up the pedal pull tractor.
