Deputy County Clerk, Kate Noble, has been appointed by the Boone County Board of Supervisors as the County Clerk following the resignation of former clerk Sarah Robinson at the Oct. 20 meeting.

Middle School Cards focus character ed
On October 22nd, Boone Central Middle School held its annual retreat day, where 7th and 8th graders get to focus on character education the entire day.
St. Ed VFD visits with second graders
In October the St. Edward Volunteer Fire Department went to St. Edward Public School and to teach the 2nd graders the importance of fire safety. They talked to the students about electrical safety, the 911 system, kitchen safety, fire escape plans, kitchen safety and other fire related safety tips.
EPJ students mandated Nov. 20
Five Pope John XXIII Central Catholic students were mandated as lectors and Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (EMHC) Thursday morning, November 20th at an all-school 8:15 a.m. Mass. Father John Norman conducted the mandating.
