Hot competition brings out best at Cards Invite

Body
Having a home track and field meet is one thing. But, having a home track meet with fantastic competition and wonderful weather conditions is definitely another! After a scorcher of a day on Monday, Tuesday’s cooler temps made competition at the Boone Central Invitational a much more enjoyable day! For Boone Central, the day was highlighted with a good 3rd place finish by the girls and an impressive 31 season best! The boys were not far behind with 25, but the tough competition knocked them back to 6th in the team standings.
Always an incredible competitor, Kaden Miller proved it again with his impressive finish in the 400 meters at the Boone Central Invitational.

Babbling Brook

Body
After my medical escapades almost a lifetime ago now, my wife purchased me one of those watches that “watches” you. It tells the time, and the stuff, for sure - but it also tells me how many steps I’ve taken for the day.
