FFA Alumni hold Gateway to Sandhills Rodeo event

The Albion FFA Alumni organization hosted the 31st annual Gateway to the Sandhills Bullride this past weekend at the Boone County Agriculture & Education Center/Niewohner Arena. In the above photo, The Double S Bull Company presented the Albion FFA Alumni with the best new event of the year award for our event hosted in March of 2024.

Loup Power wins safety award

Loup Power District has earned the American Public Power Association’s Safety Award of Excellence for safe operating practices in 2025. The utility earned a Gold award in the category for utilities with 110,000 to 249,999 worker-hours of exposure.
