The Albion Cornerstone Post #162 Juniors baseball team put up a number of wins since last report – going 4-1 since June 9. The Juniors won over the Tri-County Titans 13-1 on June 9, won 9-8 over the Rebels team on the road; fell to David City’s Post #125, 15-9; beat the O’Neill Irish team, 11-7 at home on June 15; and won over Wakefield’s Post #81 Bullsnakes, 9-6, on Saturday, June 20 at home.

Albion’s Post #162 Seniors baseball team had a light week while the Juniors were counting up a few wins, relaxing after a 6-5 win over O’Neill’s Seniors on June 15. The Albion team will play again on Wednesday, June 24, at home against the PWG Seniors team starting at 8 p.m., and will play on Saturday, June 27 on the road at York against the Cornerstone Kings team.

Just a reminder to join the St. Edward Public Library in honoring America’s 250th birthday this year during Chautauqua Days,their annual summer reading event, June 30 - July 3. The event will be held at the St. Edward Community Center, beginning at 10:30 each morning.
