Albion FFA Alumni are gearing up for the 29th annual Gateway to the Sandhills Bullride to be held Saturday, March 16, at the Niewohner Arena on the fairgrounds.

The preview begins at 6:30 p.m. followed by the ride at 7:30 p.m.

Advance tickets are now available at White Star Oil Co., Albion ThriftyWay and Gragert’s Market in Albion.

Calving Breakfast March 23 An annual Calving Breakfast for area livestock producers will be held Saturday morning, March 23, 8 to 10 a.m., at The J Sports Bar & Grill in Albion. The breakfast is sponsored by Farm Bureau Financial Services, Beaver Creek Veterinary Services and Boone County Farm Bureau.
