blood drive on Tuesday, Feb. 24, at the St. Edward Community Center.

Fifty donors presented to donate a total of 52 units in spite of deferrals and uncompleted donations.

St. Edward donors were: Karlyn Billings, Brent Werts, Meredith Christman, Tonya Beekman, Betty Carter, Keith Carter, Chad Carlson, Sara Francis, Lindsay Tenski, Mickey Andreasen, Kenna Gray, Jacob Reeves, John Laska, Blake Foshee, Josie Sock, Lance Wurdeman, Tate Sutton, Chris Condreay and Anna Laska,.

Additional St. Edward donors were Brent Beekman, Chuck Laska, Sam Reardon, Ron Benson, Katie Alder, Bob McDuffee, Joey Alder, Jim NIcklasson, Duane Chilson, Terry Matchett, John Fritzges, Sherri Laska, Joe Osantowski, Craig Sindelar, Anthony Reader, Blake Merrell and Curtis Thompson, all from St. Edward.

Other donors were Elizabeth Francis from Grand Island, David Berney from Wolbach, Joan Sokol and Lela King from Newman Grove, Rebecca Reardon and Staci MacDonald from Fullerton; Brian Homolka, Sam Mahoney, Amy Melcher and Carol Homolka from Genoa; Jesse Osantowski, Bill Schriver and Amanda Redler from Albion.

The three first time donors were Rebecca Reardon, Jacob Reeves and Sherri Laska.

Milestone donors were Meredith Christman and Tate Sutton with one gallon. Anna Laska with two gallons, Sam Mahoney, Lela King and Terry Matchett with three gallons, and Joey Alder with five gallons.

Donations were provided by the Boone-Nance Cattlemen for the chili. The Explorers served the chili and snacks to the donors for their fundraiser.
