Candidates for village board have until Thursday, Aug. 1, at 5 p.m. to file for those positions to have their names on the November election ballots.

Cedar Rapids has three seats available. Candidates who have filed are Bryce Molt, Lee McPhillips and Brittany Grammer.

Jordan Mogensen withdrew his village board filing.

Petersburg has two seats available. Candidates who have filed are Mitchell Koch and Ashley Thieman.

Primrose has two seats available. Only one candidate, D J Greger, has filed for village board.

Filings can be submitted at the Boone County Clerk’s office for these four-year terms.
