Petersburg Community Club will be hosting its annual Carnival Days celebration next Tuesday and Wednesday, June 25-26 in the downtown area.

This annual event features the D. C. Lunch Shows carnival starting at 6 p.m. both nights.

Additional events are: Tuesday, June 25

• 7 p.m. - Flag Raising and National Anthem, downtown park;

• Kids Races (foot races, bicycle and tricycle races and diaper races).

• Egg Toss for teams of kids age 12 and under, with an adult.

Wednesday, June 26

• 5:30 p.m. - Free Barbecue at downtown park shelter sponsored by Great Plains State Bank;

• 6:30 p.m. - Flag Raising and National Anthem, downtown park;

• Ping Pong Scramble downtown. Two age groups - three to 12 years old, and age 21 and older.
