Post #162 Seniors bring the heat to playoff games, qualify for state!
Albion Cornerstone Post #162 Seniors baseball team is one of eight teams advancing to the 2024 Class C American Legion State Tournament in Wakefield this weekend.
Albion's seniors will open play this Saturday, Aug. 3, at 10 a.m. against Crofton Post #128 in the first game of the tournament.
Albion advanced with a 7-1 win over St. Paul in the final game of the Area 6 Tournament at St. Paul last week, going 4-0 in tournament play. Other teams in the Class C State Tourney are Pender, Palmer-Wolbach-Greeley, Malcolm, Imperial, Wakefield and Tecumseh.
